As of today, we are part of the excellent reading app called Caribu. Both Lucy Snigglefritz books AND interactive versions of our colouring books can be viewed, read and coloured on any device with the app installed.
Caribu is an education platform that helps parents, extended family, and mentors read and draw with children when they’re not together. We’re FaceTime meets Kindle, for kids. The result is an engaging livestream shared-screen experience – in a carefully designed, curated, and secure platform. An in-app bookstore contains hundreds of books, in six languages, from leading children’s publishers, and many educational workbooks with an interactive drawing overlay.
- Drawing on books with multiple colors in real-time
- Audio-only fallback when user is in low-bandwidth area
- Story guide pointer in real-time to follow along in the book
- Magnifying tool to zoom in on small text
Be sure to visit their site for all the details and links to download a compatible version of their app with your smartphone or tablet.
We also recommend you listen to them on the podcast called The Pitch. This is where we first became aware of the app, and the story of how it all came to be and listening to CEO Max Tuchman describe the process is extremely interesting.
